We are overwhelmed with gratitude knowing that so many of you are traveling great distances to be with us. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for.

El 9 de septiembre de 2026, comenzaremos el próximo capítulo de nuestras vidas—de la mano, rodeados de las personas que han dado forma a nuestra historia.
Familiares y amigos de todo el mundo se reunirán en un solo lugar, en un único momento, para presenciar el inicio de algo sagrado: una promesa para siempre.
Esta celebración no es solo sobre nosotros—es sobre el amor que nos ha levantado, la risa que nos ha sostenido, y las personas que han estado a nuestro lado en cada paso del camino.
Nos sentimos profundamente agradecidos sabiendo que muchos de ustedes recorrerán grandes distancias para acompañarnos. Su presencia es el mayor regalo que podríamos recibir.

The Location

We chose Nossa Senhora da Rocha not just for its beauty, but for its meaning.
The chapel sits on a cliffside where land meets sea—just like us. Eric and Claudia have always lived near the ocean. It’s where they go to breathe, to dream, and to reconnect.
In the local legend, a shepherd found a hidden statue of the Virgin Mary among the rocks—a sign of protection. That’s how we see our love: something sacred, discovered, and sheltered by something greater.
To us, the ocean is holy. And just like the fishermen who prayed to Our Lady of the Rock for safe passage, we look to each other for protection as we begin this journey.
That’s why we’re getting married here—on the edge of the world, held between sky and sea, with love as our anchor.”

Elegimos Nossa Senhora da Rocha no solo por su belleza, sino por su significado.
La capilla se encuentra sobre un acantilado donde la tierra se encuentra con el mar—igual que nosotros. Eric y Claudia siempre han vivido cerca del océano. Es donde van a respirar, a soñar y a reconectar.
Según la leyenda local, un pastor encontró una estatua escondida de la Virgen María entre las rocas—una señal de protección. Así vemos nuestro amor: algo sagrado, descubierto y resguardado por algo más grande.
Para nosotros, el océano es sagrado. Y al igual que los pescadores que rezaban a Nuestra Señora de la Roca por un viaje seguro, nosotros nos miramos el uno al otro en busca de protección al comenzar este camino.
Por eso nos casamos aquí—en el borde del mundo, sostenidos entre el cielo y el mar, con el amor como nuestro ancla.

Our Love

Story

Our love wasn’t written in the stars or destined by fate—we don’t believe everything happens for a reason. What we believe in are beautiful coincidences—the quiet, unexpected alignments that bring people together when they least expect it.

The fact that we’re here, together, is the result of generations of love, resilience, and care. Our ancestors had to live, to love, and to survive for us to even exist—let alone meet. Though we share Cuban roots, our paths were shaped by different worlds.

When we met at just 15 years old in high school, something just felt familiar. We became fast friends, and as we spent time together, we uncovered a shared way of seeing the world. Even with different life experiences, we held the same values: a desire for meaning, growth, and purpose.

We often say that our meeting was the result of a series of beautiful coincidences—not something planned or predestined, but something that unfolded naturally, with timing we could never have predicted.

A year into our friendship, our bond grew into love. More than a decade has passed since then. We’ve grown up side by side, facing challenges, celebrating wins, and choosing each other again and again.

This wedding is not just a celebration of love, but of everything that led us here—and of all the beautiful coincidences still to come.

Nuestro amor no fue escrito en las estrellas ni dictado por el destino—no creemos que todo suceda por una razón. Lo que sí creemos son en las coincidencias hermosas—esas alineaciones silenciosas e inesperadas que unen a las personas cuando menos lo imaginan.

El hecho de que estemos aquí, juntos, es el resultado de generaciones de amor, resiliencia y cuidado. Nuestros antepasados tuvieron que vivir, amar y sobrevivir para que siquiera existiéramos—y mucho menos para que nos conociéramos. Aunque compartimos raíces cubanas, nuestros caminos fueron moldeados por mundos distintos.

Cuando nos conocimos a los 15 años en la escuela secundaria, algo simplemente se sintió familiar. Nos hicimos amigos rápidamente, y al pasar tiempo juntos, descubrimos una manera compartida de ver el mundo. A pesar de nuestras diferentes experiencias de vida, compartíamos los mismos valores: el deseo de encontrar sentido, crecer y vivir con propósito.

Solemos decir que nuestro encuentro fue el resultado de una serie de coincidencias hermosas—no algo planeado ni predestinado, sino algo que se desarrolló de forma natural, con un tiempo que nunca podríamos haber previsto.

Un año después de nuestra amistad, nuestro lazo se transformó en amor. Ya ha pasado más de una década desde entonces. Hemos crecido lado a lado, enfrentando desafíos, celebrando logros, y eligiéndonos una y otra vez.

Esta boda no es solo una celebración del amor, sino de todo lo que nos trajo hasta aquí—y de todas las coincidencias hermosas que aún están por venir.
